Dive Fest 2010July 31-August 1: Join us for a weekend of diving, socializing, camping, contests and ribs. Take part one or both days. Stay overnight in a nearby motel or camp out on site. Events include an underwater photo contest, poker run, buoyancy clinic, navigation contest, Whitestar trivia contest, and a chance to try out the Innovative Scuba Bladefish. A Handful of Spaces Left for Niagara RiverAugust 14-15: Drift diving down one of America’s most famous rivers is both exciting and fun. You barely have to kick; the water does most of the work. Visibility of 30 to 40 feet is common. Summertime water temperatures can be 70°F. You can find antique bottles and other historic artifacts. Group Outing: Imax Under the SeaAugust 29, 2010: Among the most popular activities we do doesn’t involve getting in the water. It’s when we gather a group of our best friends together and catch a special underwater film at the Science Center’s Imax theater. Afterward, we will retire to a nearby eatery for lunch and drinks.
